We had a fun 2023 chicken barbecue at Camp Wohelo last month. The weather was beautiful and there were 72 attendees. What a wonderful way to finish out the summer. Everyone had a good time and there was plenty of delicious food.
At the Hawthorne Community Association annual meeting following the barbecue we elected two new trustees. Well, Steven was elected by a majority vote by the trustees the next day. Steve got the ‘Gee, I want to be involved’ bug and we are glad he did! Click here for a complete list of trustees – we now have a full slate of 14 trustees. Tom Ewig was elected president, Ann Moeri was elected vice president, Becky Tracy was re-elected treasurer, and Margret Myatt was re-elected secretary
