By all standards, the 2021 BBQ was a HUGE success. We had 56 attendees and the Hawthorne house netted $443.97 after expenses. For comparison, in 2019, we had 20 attendees and earned $175. The attendance this year was the highest anyone can remember. Thank you to all those who attended and to Wohelo for hosting us. Everyone had a great time and thankfully the weather cooperated.
In 2021, we were lucky enough to appoint three new members to our Board. Margaret Myatt & Ed Kranich were recognized at the meeting and Tom Ewig also joined us earlier this year. We are very excited for the new initiatives they are already bringing to the table and we are grateful to the work they are doing.
